Early County students are hard at work sharpening their welding skills as they prepare for this month’s upcoming welding competition! Under the guidance of Mr. Espy Smith, FFA and SkillsUSA members are gaining valuable hands-on experience in the shop.For several students, this is their very first time learning how to weld, and they are already developing important technical skills, safety practices, and confidence behind the torch. Opportunities like this help students explore careers in skilled trades while building leadership and career readiness through FFA and SkillsUSA.We are proud of these students for stepping outside their comfort zones and learning something new.
